I have extensive experience acting on leasing of commercial, retail and industrial properties for landlords and tenants. I also act for clients in sale and purchase of all types of properties and various commercial and finance transactions.

I began my practice in Auckland and continued to build my knowledge base in Hong Kong and China by providing legal advice to international brands, financial institutions as well as major retail and office tenants in respect of their retail leasing portfolio in Hong Kong and China and working with other practice groups to ensure that the clients’ other legal needs relating to construction, taxation, regulatory and intellectual property matters were met. I also acted for major corporate landlords, government departments and public corporations in setting up their standard form lease documentation for special purpose facilities, high-tech industrial estates, data centres, and commercial and industrial developments and advising on tenancy issues including lease review in acquisitions of buildings and businesses.
 
Since returning to New Zealand in 2015, I have continued to focus on high-end commercial, retail and industrial leasing. In addition, I provide advice on and deal with complex title issues, boundary adjustments, transferable development rights, subdivisions, easements and property acquisitions and disposals.
